A complete list of WAEC candidates having scores of at least 93% A1 is being honored.

  • So far, some WAEC candidates have performed excellently well, with one getting A1 parallels in all his nine subjects
  • However, there are some other students who have got no less than eight As, including Kamsiyochukwu Nkechinyere Umeh, the highest scorer of JAMB

Some applicants got exceptional and excellent outcomes in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), according to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) results.

Some of the WAEC students got As all through their results, while some have one or two Bs in the results that have appeared online so far.

Below is the list of the candidates:

Isa Salmanu

In the 2023 WASSCE, the bright child registered for nine subjects and received As in every one of them, including English and Mathematics.

Isa is a student at the Premiere Academic in the Lugbe neighborhood of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja, according to a Facebook post by Charles Sogbey.

Two other students, Golit Dordon Golu and Alamina Daniel Sopriye, who achieved 8 As and one B in their respective WAEC exams and over 300 in their UTME scores, are mentioned in a blog post on the school’s website.

Omoyeni Joy Folakemi

Omoyeni Joy Folakemi, who registered for nine courses in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), excelled in every one of them.

The school’s jubilant owner recently shared the inspiring tale, saying, “A kid at our school by the name of Omoyeni Joy had 9 As in the recently revealed WAEC results. Her JAMB score was 338. She is one of many success tales we have.

“She was known for taking her personal studies seriously and for asking the lecturers lots of questions. She received a 338 on the JAMB and a 1400 or 1600 on the SAT.

Falade Ayomide Esther

Esther was another young Nigerian who performed really well on her WAEC exam in 2023. Her accomplishments made her parents and everyone of Nigeria proud.

The 16-year-old Esther received 8 As and a B in the recently announced WASSCE results, according to an Instagram post by The Tribune.

Kamsiyochukwu Nkechinyere Umeh

Umeh, a student from Deeper Life High School who was recently recognized for earning a 360 on the UTME, has once more demonstrated academic prowess in her WAEC score.

The student, who received eight As and one B on her WAEC exam, has applied to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) to study chemical engineering, according to Vanguard.
