Towards the Buhari government Administration’s scheme to take out over 100 millions Nigeria from poverty in 10 years, the World Bank introduced COVID-19 economic stimulus and actions recovery called NG-CARES.
The World Bank will provide $750 million in support in addition to the FG’s social investment, job creation and poverty reduction programs.
The NG-CARES program aims to support vulnerable and poor Nigerians, providing immediate emergency assistance to small farmers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
