According to rumors, Apple may unveil the iPhone 15 series on September 13. According to 9to5Mac, mobile providers have instructed their employees to report to work on September 13th. The reason for this is said to be a significant smartphone announcement.

So, how do we know if this is the iPhone 15 launch event? Samsung has already introduced their foldable phones, while Google isn’t anticipated to take the stage until October with the next-generation Pixel phones. So it is safe to assume that the future event is tied to Apple, namely the launch of the iPhone 15. For comparison, the iPhone 14 was unveiled on September 7th. Both dates happen to be on a Wednesday.

Heres everything we know about iphone 15 series thus far.

Apple is rumored to have loaded the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus with the previous generation Pro models’ A16 Bionic chipset. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, the series’ higher-end phones, will be powered by the new A17 Bionic SoC. Another feature that distinguishes the Pro versions from the standard varieties is the frame on the side of the phone, which is supposed to be made of Titanium. The other two versions will keep the same stainless steel frame as the current generation.

While the iPhone 15 series receives camera upgrades across the way, including a new 48 megapixel lens, the Pro Max also receives an optical zoom periscope lens. Apple is ditching the classic Ring/Silent switch in favor of an Action Button, which users will be able to configure for various activities such as opening the camera, enabling accessibility options, switching to silent mode, and so on. iOS 17 will also have a new Journal app to help with mental health, Contact Posters, Live VoiceMail, NameDrop contact information sharing, and other new features.
