New administration established by Niger coupists.

According to a declaration read out on national television on Thursday, the Nigerian military chiefs who overthrew the country’s elected government in a coup in July have established a new administration.

The 21-member government will be led by newly appointed Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, with the defense and interior ministries being overseen by generals from the new military ruling council.
