In Ogbomoso, Oyo State, a bride named Rebecca Oyedotun collapsed and passed away on the day of her wedding.
On the night before the deceased bride’s wedding, when she was enjoying her bridal shower with her friends, a sad accident occurred.
Evangelist Oyedotun of C&S Reformed Church, Isale-High School, the deceased bride’s father, claims that the bride did not exhibit any prior symptoms of illness prior to collapsing at around 10:30 a.m.
The departed bride was scheduled to wed Abiodun Oluwadamilare on Saturday, August 19, 2023, before she went away.
The sister of the groom claims that preparations were well underway before the fatal incident.
Being an only child, the groom, Abiodun, was overjoyed to learn that his parents had killed their cow in Ogbomoso. However, he was unaware that disaster lay just around the corner.
Despite the fact that the deceased’s mother, Mrs. Ruth Oyedotun, was unable to speak due to her grief, the father, Evangelist Oyedotun, disclosed that they had taken the bride right away to the LAUTECH teaching hospital in the hopes that she would return to finish the wedding ceremonies.
“We hurriedly transported her to Ogbomoso’s LAUTECH Teaching Hospital. She was recovered after a while and seemed to be stable, but by Saturday morning, her health had gotten worse and she was confined to the bed.
Even more, we had to rush to take her to Bowen University Teaching Hospital for a few examinations.
“The bridegroom collapsed and began to sob, ‘Let me take her away.'”We spent the entire Saturday in the hospital.
According to Tori News, her condition deteriorated till Sunday morning, when she passed away.
