The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development announces further payments to its Work Experience Programme (WEP). The beneficiaries will start this month following some monitoring and reconciliation of payments to date.
The ministry urges youth and beneficiaries affected by delays to be patient and respectful of decorum while the problems that have slowed down the process are resolved.
The Ministry had paid the amount of eighty million, four hundred and sixty thousand naira (N80,460,000) to two thousand, six hundred and eighty-two (2,682). internship participants under this programme last August and September.
They provided these payments to Northern and Southern participants.
The Work Experience Programme (WEP). Federal Ministry for Youth and Sports Development initiative is a three-month internship program. provides participants with the opportunity to develop relevant first-hand knowledge, skills and competencies in the workplace that will enhance their employability.
